One of the most beautiful hikes I've been to. So worth the view. You can stop by bowen on the way, but it gets crowded and that's a very short hike. Hiking up and down St Marks Summit took us around 5.5 hours (with eating lunch and taking photos and lots of breaks!). We hiked around total of 10 km.

The hike is definitely moderate-hard. It gets more difficult at the very top. It's muddy and slippery. Please be careful. The path at the end isn't as clear cut, a lot of climbing tree roots.

There are plenty of parking 🙂 the toilets were closed when we were there in October. There was only the portable toilets - kind of smelly. Make sure to bring your own tissue.

Truly spectacular views. It’s a moderate hike, challenging if you’re a beginner. There’s some steep inclines but also flat terrain portions. It gets very busy - I’d recommend going on a weekday if possible. Don’t follow google maps here, go to Cypress Provincial park, park, and start from the trailhead there.

This was our second time hiking to St. Mark's summit and we had a pretty great time! Made sure to bring enough water, snacks and coffee for a nice 30-45 min. lunch at the summit. Such INCREDIBLE views 😍 I believe it took us round trip 2 hours and 45 minutes - lots of roots and small to medium/large rocks to cover but well worth it! Round trip was about 3 miles/ ~5 km. Highly recommend hiking boots on this one. Hope y'all have a fantastic time out there as we did!

Incredible views. I’d say this was 6.5/10 on the difficulty scale. Steady climb with little breaks here and there. A good workout. A really enjoyable hike. 😃

Great hike and lots of fun just ended up on a foggy day but I'll be up there again. My dog cruised up the mountain no problem even though there where spots with lots of roots requiring some thinking about where to place your feet. There was still snow on the mountain but it was easily navigated in hiking boots.

SITE TOUR 🤗 ST. MARK'S Summit. Video attached. Backcountry Camping is available, check map at parking lot. Practice Leave NO Trace. No fires. 4-5 hours round trip. Must wear hiking boots and use hiking poles, uneven terrains, gravel, mud, switchbacks, boardwalk, stairs, roots, boulders. VERY BUGGY lots of Mosquitoes and Black Flies.
