Food was good quality and enough to fill you up. It was a weekday and the staff was just two people but they managed to get the food ready in a decent time. It's a nice fast food kind of place with better quality than the average chain.

I really love this place. I ordered mushroom and Swiss cheese burger it was really tastes good. If someone loves mushroom, should try it. Also we can add vegetables for free, I needed much veges so very satisfied. I don’t think it’s expensive even combo. Also the staff is so nice even looks busy. I’ll come back soon. Had a really good experience.

I am deeply disappointed by my experience at South St. today.

Payment machine did not work. The poor cook had to reset the machine 5x times. A disgrace that a “Canadian” company uses cheap and exploited workers to pad their bottom line.

I’m sure many others would agree if you can’t sustain your business without having a working payment system. Or 2 overworked TFW’s slaving away working with broken equipment because the owner is too cheap to fix it or repair it.

I’m here to buy lunch for myself and my co-workers back at our MP’s office. Not sit around for 3 hours trying to pay using a debit card.

Shame on the owner.

Blanche at the front counter was exceptional! She was not only efficient in taking our order and explaining the menu options clearly, but also went the extra mile by checking in with us a few minutes after delivering our food to the table — something you don't typically expect at a fast food place. Her warm smile and professionalism really stood out and made our experience enjoyable. Thanks to her great service, we'll definitely be coming back!

I'm amazed that there's a ton of free toppings for the burgers here. Some of the toppings I see here usually have an extra charge for it at other restaurants. I thought there would be a limit on how much you could put on it but apparently not, that's nice. Not to mention that they also have another store connected to it which sells ice cream. I'm not an ice cream fan but they sure have a lot of dips and toppings for a small store. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a nice meal or dessert hidden in a corner.

I was excited to try SSB after seeing it promoted on a foodie influencer’s IG page. Unfortunately, the burger was nothing to write home about. In fact, it was easily subpar. Patty was dry— it was like chewing on a dried up dishwashing sponge. The employee saw me pulling up, but once I entered the premises, she was nowhere to be found. Stood there for a good 10 minutes before she appeared. There are far better options with better service, so I won’t be back.

Just wanted to leave my thoughts here as I can't on the actual listing. But the one in Market Mall has closed. This has left me absolutely gutted. South St Burger has been a fixture in my life for years now, and they have the most amazing Burgers. I'm really sad to see them go one after another in Calgary. Thank you to the guy at Market Mall who was a legend and always made my Burger just how I liked it. Goodbye.
