Well my experience here started out great. The server was awesome, kind and attentive. The food, however, left much to be desired. We ordered the dinner for two. The egg rolls were great, probably the best I've tasted. Ordered Jasmine tea, also really good. The chow mein was absolutely disgusting, likely the cheapest they could find, we couldn't eat it. The sweet and sour pork was ok. And the chicken chop suey was conflicted. The vegetables were good, the chicken was disgusting. Tasted like cheap processed chicken chunks. This place could do so much better if they upped the quality, I probably won't return because of the food, but the service was nice

My kids love the food! And it's rare to have them all like the same thing. Personally I really like the Almond Chicken. A little on the greasy side but tasty and you get a lot for what you pay. The sauce on the sweet & sour pork could be improved but otherwise OK. And they never seem to put plum sauce in my take out even when I ask them to when I order. Also, no fortune cookies so that kind of sucks.

I have been going to St. James since the beginning. I love their food. It's still the same. The staff are wonderful! The chefs are friendly, ( owners) they ask once in awhile, how's the food? Wonderful,of course,that's why we're here. Thank you. And I usually tease the twins little ones! Now they are older,helping their parents ,then going back to college or university. I love Fort St.James. Of course the people too.

Not the best Chinese food I've had, but also not the worst. The inside of the restaurant was pretty old.the waitress wasn't much of a talker, and she never even looked me in the eye. But we got our food in a reasonable amount of time and the place was pretty clean from what I could see.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants while visiting the Fort. Been going there for years. Special chow mein my most favorite dishes. Although I still wonder what they put in their gravy that makes it so delicious!

This place makes me miss china town in Vancouver.
Chow mein is same as other restaurant, cheapest noodles they got at local store, bland, very little veggies or even bean sprouts, chicken weird kkinda boiled dry.
Fried rice bland
Wings bland.
But when you only got 2 options of chinese they are the bomb, also if you like bland ir are used to bland foods.
