Was legit a friendless loser here, came here in grade 7 got a few friends and a few people to talk to and then we all drifted apart throughout the year and then for the first month of grade 8 I had 2 close friends but then we kinda just stopped being friends and then for the rest of grade 8 I had no one to talk to I had no friends in that school throughout the rest of grade 8. And I was failing all my classes and then in 9th grade I just did online the whole year which was fine I guess but that doesn't matter rn, stj23 doesn't even have the best teachers I swear I'm sorry im not being specific with teachers that are bad but I'm just saying they're all bad they don't discipline bad students like this one boy in my class who was a loser that was racist and said the n word swears a lot and was so racist to this one Indian kid and was extremely disrespectful and rude to everyone literally never got in trouble teachers noticed and they like never yelled at him he just never got in trouble and even said mean stuff about some student with special needs but other than that boy, most of the students here are just not the best and I could barely make any friends. Send your children to a better school don't ever come to this school😭🙏 oh and one more thing, for the beginning of 7th grade (2021) we weren't even allowed to use lockers because of "covid 19" when covid 19 was like 2 years ago so like we are supposed to drag around our backpacks and binders and jackets to each class? But then apparently so many parents complained about the no locker thing that the teachers allowed lockers again which was good but like the fact that lockers weren't allowed is just crazy to me.. we need lockers like it is NOT 2020 anymore it was 2021/2022 at the time when they said no lockers allowed but just don't come to this school please GO find another school that is better 🙏

My son is actually smart but always got picked on coz he’s the shy new kid. He experienced bullying (classmate) and unfair treatment (teacher). We decided to pull him out since we noticed a big change in demeanor in just few months.

The school is okay you cant really expect a perfect school, but the fact students don't even have enough textbooks yet we have multiple TVs and basket ball hoops does not make sense. As well as the discipline the year before there were 3 students in my grade who had said the n-word all of them were not black yet still did not get any punishment, but a student who was black said the n-word got a full day suspension. Most teachers are okay that's the only thing I can say.

I like the school, I've made lots of friends and lots of people know me here, but my main issue is money management. the school can use $200K to get basketball nets. TV's, sports teams, computers, Chromebooks and iPads but cant even fund for decent WiFi. and not all teachers are welcoming and some just give overwhelming homework's. i know that i'm not the best student, but some teachers just pick on me. For example: last year, me and my friend had to pick up USED paper towels from the ground when we didn't do anything. i'm in grade 8 and I've been here since the school has opened, and almost nothing has changed. there are some non black kids that said the n word and haven't gotten in trouble but 2 black kids said it and they got in trouble. the school doesnt let us take pictures (i get that some people don't want their photo/video taken) but others wanna save memories of their friends before they leave. the councelers like Mrs.Debrusk and Ms. Stang are really welcoming and nice. Some of the teachers too like Mrs. Daigle, Mr. O, Mr.Danilak, Mrs.P, Mr. Bondy and Mr. Borle before he left. The toilets are DISGUSTING, there is pee in and on the toilets, poo in the toilets and i even found PEE ON THE FLOOR I rate this school a 2.5 bc of that.

MID Staff honestly Mr Fortin Mr Smith and Mme Hannah only good teachers also the office refuses to help you unless you say they also refused my son food during covid because it was against the rules thy would have rather let my child starve then bend the rules and lastly they make dumb decisions

This school was pretty boring overall. The only field trips we took in JH was to go to church...sooo fun. The teachers were mediocre, some better than others. School dances are the worst since they grade you on your dancing, and if you don’t show up they make you perform in front of everyone next gym class. Some of the people that work at the office aren’t the most welcoming.
